I’ve been a professional Educator in Moncton New Brunswick since 2004 and have always had an inclination for technology. I always used and tried various platforms in the classroom so when the global pandemic started, it was an easy transition for me. Almost immediately, I was offered the position of Educational Support Teacher within our district. As such, I help teachers and students with using the different platforms online that distance learning now requires. Very quickly, I realized there was little in the way of support for parents. Our province puts out a helpline which may help a few people but there was something missing for parents wanting to help their children at home.
